    Measurement & reporting

    - Senior technical advisor to the Taskforce on Nature-Related Financial Disclosures, instrumental in the development of TNFD’s foundational definitions and concepts, the finance sector guide, nature metrics and mining sector supplement

    - Senior technical advisor on the Aligning Accounting Approaches for Nature, working to standardise approaches to biodiversity measurement

    - Member of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) technical committee and board member of Partnership Biodiversity Accounting Financials (PBAF)

    Collaboration & policy

    - Reviewed the state of biodiversity and carbon credits for the European Commission to inform the EU Nature Credits Roadmap.

    - Convened a bilateral roundtable on nature finance with UK and Dutch experts, in partnership with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in London and the Ecosystems Knowledge Network.

    - Supported the EU Business@Biodiversity Platform on biodiversity measurement, producing technical publications and reviewing case studies.

    Thought leadership

    - Provided strategic leadership at UNEP-WCMC for the creation of the ENCORE tool, now widely used by financial institutions to assess nature-related risks.

    - Advised Aviva Investors on the development of their first natural capital fund and institutional policy and produced a briefing for membership group Positive Luxury on luxury brands and nature.

    - Developed insights and facilitated dialogue on the nature–health nexus, highlighting opportunities for business leadership at this intersection.

    - Technical brief for the World Bank on Natural Asset Companies, assessing risks and implications of monetising natural capital

    Capacity building & engagement

    - Delivered Biodiversity 101 sessions at board and executive level for multiple organisations, including through UNEP Finance Initiative and a US-based investor.

    - Developed training slide decks and contributed to materials with GIZ to support academic training in economics and biodiversity.

    - Presented to international audiences on nature finance and biodiversity risks, tailoring content for non-specialist decision-makers
